Results of Lilydale Clubby – 3 October

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our clubby today. We hope you all had fun.

In brilliant sunshine, some 58 riders joined in today’s clubby, including many from other Clubs. This is the best turnout we’ve had at a clubby for a long time. From the feedback, most riders enjoyed the close competition and are looking forward to lots more similar race days over the warmer months.

Apart from needing some sweeping before the Spring Cup on 18 October, riders commented that the newly surfaced track was great to ride. It’s particularly pleasing that the new surface has stood up to all the downpours in the last few weeks. The track should be lightning fast if the weather stays dry.

The format for the racing was a bit of an experiment and seemed to work well. A bit of fine tuning should improve it even more so that riders get the maximum benefit from racing with others of similar ability. Results in pdf format (40kb)

Results of Lilydale Clubby 15 August

The weather was fine but windy and the track in good shape after the working bee this morning so riders turned out for a great afternoon’s racing. It was great to see so many riders from both our own and other clubs.

Everyone had a lot of fun, finishing with another close relay.

Next Clubby

The next clubby will be on 15 August with registration from 1:30pm and racing starting at 2:00pm.

Beforehand, we are having a working bee so if you can spare some time in the morning to lend a hand any time from 8:30am onwards that would be great. Every bit of time you can spare would be appreciated.

After the working bee, we will be putting on a sausage sizzle, so come on down and do a bit to help make the track and surrounds more rideable for our kids…..

Even better, the forecast indicates it’s going to be a great day weather wise.
